It's getting to be that time of year again. Valentine's Day. When lovers young and old and everywhere in between get all romantic and mushy. And sales of jewelry, flowers, candy, stuffed bears and balloon bouquets skyrocket. Where better this year to give her (or him) that lovely expression of your affection than at The Resort at The Mountain? And where even better than over a special, delectably designed and presented a la carte dinner menu at Altitude Restaurant? Nowhere is the answer!

This year Altitude is extending Valentine's "day" into Valentine's weekend. Well sort of. And our 2010 Valentine's Menu is being offered on both Saturday, February 13 and Sunday, February 14. Reservations are available from 5 - 9 PM. But probably not for long. Valentine restaurant reservations disappear quickly. So call soon to make yours. 503-622-2214. And take a little credit for the culinary portion of this year's romantic festivities. Post-dinner guest room is optional!

Skiers' Breakfast Special

Each morning at Altitude through March -- before you hit the slopes -- nourish your body and fuel it for the day's recreational skiing. For only $3.99 you may enjoy a rotating hearty breakfast special with just this goal in mind. This isn't your one egg and toast skimpy breakfast we're talking about! Among the items varying from day to day will be French toast, waffles, two eggs with bacon, a ham and cheese omelet, veggie omelet or even a breakfast burrito. Yum. And vrooom!
