GATHER 'ROUND THE TURKEY AT THE RESORT AT THE MOUNTAIN

Buffet menu features variety of Northwest-inspired dishes and traditional favorites

WELCHES (Mt. Hood), Ore. – (Oct. 26, 2010) – The Resort at The Mountain (The Resort), a premier ski, spa and golf destination located on the western slope of Mt. Hood, invites guests to enjoy a mouthwatering Thanksgiving Day Buffet in Altitude restaurant on Thursday, November 25 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Created by Executive Chef Paul Bosch and his culinary team, the menu offers guests a blend of both classic and unconventional Thanksgiving items. Guests can enjoy customary entrées like Slow Roasted and Basted Turkey and alternative fare such as Absinthe-Infused Duck Breast. An assortment of desserts, such as Apple-Butter Pumpkin Pie and Double-Crusted Cheddar Apple Pie will be available. The complete buffet menu follows below.

"Our Thanksgiving buffet allows friends and family to get together and enjoy great food, without having to worry about food preparations and messy clean-up," said Frank Casarez, general manager of The Resort at The Mountain. "We welcome those who have celebrated with us for years, as well as those who are looking to start a new Thanksgiving tradition of premier cuisine in a tranquil environment."

Available on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the Thanksgiving Day buffet is $36 per adult, $29 for seniors ages 55 and up, $15 for children ages five to 13 and free for children under five.
